PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy sets out how Seia (hereinafter: ‘Seia, ‘we’ or ‘us’/’our’) processes your personal data which you provide to us or which we obtain through our website. We value your right to privacy and strive to protect the personal data we collect and use in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and more specifically with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its relevant national implementing legislation. This Privacy Statement was last amended on March 1, 2023. We may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time.

1. About Seia
Seia is a product for providing insights on how deployed AI systems perform once deployed, under the umbrella of DEUS.ai.
DEUS is a specialised AI firm that creates value for its clients by combining data science, engineering, UX-design and strategy. We are the party responsible for processing your personal data (the ‘controller’) within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’). DEUS is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Any questions you might have can be e-mailed to privacy@deus.ai.

2. What personal data do we process?
This Privacy Statement provides information on the processing of personal data of visitors to our landing page, as well as the Seia's web-app. We process the following personal data:

– e-mail address
– name
– company
– role within that company
– user sessions
– metadata you choose to send us

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to track general visitor data. The data is used for statistical analyses of visitor and click behaviour on the website. We also use it optimise the operation of the website.

We have set up Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly manner, which means IP addresses are anonymised and data is sent over a secure connection. For the Seia's web-app, however, we record your user sessions for beta testing purposes. These user sessions are connected to the login credentials we provide to you. Nevertheless, the statistical and user session data is transferred to and stored by Google and Microsoft on servers in Europe and the United States.

Google and Microsoft use this information to track how our website is used and to provide reports about the website. Google and Microsoft can provide this information to third parties if Google/Microsoft is legally obliged to do so, or if these third parties process the information on behalf of Google/Microsoft. We have no influence on this.

Finally, in order to ensure you can explore Seia's web-app by using your own models, we make use of metadata. This metadata will be stored for 2 weeks on secure AWS servers in Europe and the United States.

3. For what purposes do we process personal data?
We process your personal data for the purpose of providing you with access to Seia's proof of concept.

4. Grounds for processing personal data
In order to be allowed to process your personal data there must be a legitimate basis for doing so as set out in the GDPR. The legitimate basis for processing the personal data is on the basis of consent. You are free to withdraw your consent at any time by e-mailing us or by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of the emails you will receive. The legitimate basis for processing the personal data from visitors to our website is on the basis of a legitimate interest to analyse visiting behaviour of our website and provide the best customer interest.

5. To whom does Seia issue personal data?
Seia only shares your personal data with its own service provider, i.e., Zoho, and otherwise only where required by law.

6. Your rights with regard to personal data
Section 3 and 4 of the GDPR provide you with the followings rights surrounding the processing of your personal data: the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. To submit a request to us in this respect, please contact us by sending an e-mail to privacy@deus.ai. If in doubt about your identity, we are entitled to ask you to provide proof of your identity first.

7. How long do we keep your personal data?
We will store your email, name, company role and user sessions for 1 year in our service providers (i.e., Zoho and Microsoft Clarity). We will not use this information to send you any unwanted marketing materials. The metadata you send us during the 2 weeks in which you'll be using Seia's web-app will be deleted at the end of the 2-week period. The data will be used only in the context of your use of Seia.

8. Questions and complaints
If you have any questions on the way in which we process your personal data, please let us know by sending an e-mail to privacy@deus.ai. If you believe that your personal data is being processed in breach of the GDPR, you can submit a complaint by sending an e-mail to privacy@deus.ai.If you disagree with the outcome of your complaint, you can submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority directly. The Dutch Data Protection Authority will handle the complaint or request and make a decision on it.
